I'm on the fence over grocery prices. I do think C&W were price gouging earlier on - taking advantage of general price increases - and we can see the indication of that conduct in the increased profits. but since the public awareness has a been better informed, C&W reduced their margin. We'll likely see reduced profit for the 2HY come august.
but at the same time, I accept the need for C&W to make a profit, same as landlords and insurance companies. theres a need for these to continue to be viable investments too.
