Evening all. Have a read through some of the posts here over the last month or so, will give you a bit of an idea of what could be coming.

To summarise, AVD went through a period of basic restructure over the last 12 months. Goal was to pay down debt while looking for new opportunities. Directors took a big pay cut to get the company back on track. Good sign.

Only 217m shares on issue. Market cap between 4 and 5 million.

Their previous and probably current direction was to purchase oil and gas assets, bring them to production then sell them off at a profit. Has worked quite well for them previously.

Currently they are cashed up and looking for new acquisitions of "energy projects" both in the US and elsewhere. They also have a $40m US line of credit for asset purchases in the States.

The potential here is for an acquisition much like that picked up by PXR. Coal in Indonesia. Saw a significant re-rating of that company. Directors here at AVD are closely aligned to PXR. That is why their comment about "elsewhere" is very important.

They will also have the opportunity to head back into the US market. They still have a working interest in a site there.

Have some patience, im of the opinion that AVD has turned the corner and we could be in for some surprises in 2011. Good luck.
