    These results are very good. Delays are annoying, but to be expected when doing such trials. I think it was important to include information on studies into Mammogram results - it puts the FER results in perspective. Being able to tell 77% of women they don't have to have a mammogram or ultrasound is a good thing. As for the false positives, time will tell if they are false. This will be an interesting area to watch over the next couple of years - if they really aren't false (ie FER is picking up very early signs), then this will be a very major achievement. As it stands, it seems the FER test will prove to be a very good front line test, reducing the number of mammograms and ultrasounds that need to be performed, reducing costs and trauma to women.
    Also the fact they have improved screening processes and delivery will be a big plus.
    Reassuring is the statement "Fermiscan is confident of proceeding to commercialisation in 2008". They have never made such a positive commercialisation statement, which in my view is a major milestone.
