It's pretty simple really. CCP's last result sucked. Dividend cuts are virtually a precursor to profit warnings. Brokers don't think that they'll make earnings forecasts (which sucked - because they've already told the market "no growth") - and hence the shorting. Contrary to popular belief, CCP do not perform well going into recession. They do well coming out of a recession. Throw in the banking "contagion" and there's your answer, in lamens terms.
Let's hope that whatever happens, they don't go down the path of another CR.
I'm now staying out of everything and saving some cash. But in CCP, I'm a believer....even if there is NO INSIDER BUYING! Where's the skin?
