Fluffy - how can you possibly say it's been "overpriced"?? when the price has been going down and then sideways? And when, as you well know, Paladin sells virtually none of its uranium at spot prices anyway (but you have a fixation with the spot price, which is mainly set by commodity sepculators and hedge funds)? Also, with the lifting of the uranium mining ban in Queensland? And the $200m deal it recently got for which it has already been paid $50m in advance? And the more recent deal to supply uranium long term into Areva's own back yard in France?

Nope - this plunge today looks now like a bot-driven "flash-crash" type of event. The bots that scan and assess the news feeds probably saw key words like "storm", "Oyster Bay nuclear power station" "alert" "water levels" etc etc and reacted automatically. Seems to be recovering now.

In fact, that nuclear plant is already shut down (maintenance), and can withstand hurricanes and water levels much higher than expected with this storm. The alert level was the second lowest level, and automatically generated by the height of the water gauges apparently. The station also has extensive diesel backup generators for the cooling systems in case of damage - something that Fukushima did not have.

Let's see what happens from here.

But there's no way I would have called PDN "overpriced" - in fact it should be higher given the added value of the Valhalla/Skal resources in Queensland, and its 82% holdings in Summit Resources which have increased in value from about $1.50 a share to just under $2 a share.
