Having seen the investment decisions/strategy employed by Perpetual over the years I have given up trying to work out their logic.
The best I can make of their actions is what I have stated previously - they decide to quite a stock and that is it - just give an "at best" order to a broker.
Today's MCP activity was amazing, huge volumes going through. So just who is adjusting their portfolio on such a large degree - and where is the outstanding change in substantial holding notice for the 8.5% shift in ownership that occurred on 16 Feb?
So much for the ASX surveillance unit doing their job in ensuring the market operates in an informed manner!
