Just a little opinion/impression I had with yesterday’s fall. Yep- 1)Macro was pretty bad with global markets meltdown… 2)Lithium players were played hard- we weren’t on our ‘Pat Malone’!
3) Shares became available for the Instos from the recent raise. Now given many got at 36c it doesn’t make a lot of sense given they would have lost money to sell cheaper. BUT, I’m wondering if the Instos threw a few to the shorters and said, scare a few retail, hit a few stopsells and jump on the threads and create disharmony. At the moment Retail are the major holders, and with the fundamentals and risk off that ASN has had over the last couple months I get the feeling we may see some new games played by the Instos to get retail shares. Why would anyone sell less than the 36c? All just imo- and probably wrong- but?! Its called ‘playing the longer game’ for them!
