iomtt, there are two types of posters here.Positive and negative.Using the ignore button for negative posters is a bit like reading a newspaper that only prints good news. You will only ever have half the story.Over the years I have been both very positive and very negative , and all places between, as have many other longterm ICN investors. I read all posts and have learned to identify the bulldust and pay it no attention.Believe me there are many who specialise in being way too optimistic on the ICN site and stretch the bounds of rationale, just as there are those that are overly pessimistic.
Every now and then Magpie identifies the elephant in the room, which is "reserves".ICN has no reserves and it will be a long time before it can prove up 2 TCF. ICN still hasnt satisfied the Stanwell contract yet.
The world is changing and it wont wait forever for ICN to do a reserves acquisition/merger deal, assuming it can find somebody who is willing to deal with them.
I have been watching ICN to get back in when I think the time is right and I can see a way forward.Right now I have the same view as the market, which is, if ICN can acquire reserves at the right price to satisfy its commitment then it will create huge value.No doubt RJ and his team are working on this and anything can happen, but based on past performance , I will remain on the fence for now.
