The way I see it though (correct me if I'm wrong) is the sentiment of the market will be more positive towards BDR once the debt is paid and this should put pressure on the shorters as it will become more of a risk to them.

In saying that though it is a concern to me that we will not see the true value of this stock because of this manipulation, particularly when dividends will be paid on the back of a suppressed SP.
