My u/standing is that ELK have now assembled the original Ampolex team [ Dr.Peter Power +Rick Wood & Bob Cook] + have recruited two very capable execs on the ground in Casper -who know the area well and and worked with the previous owner of gireve-Wold.
The plan immediately is to boost production -hopfully to 200 bbls per day by the end of the year..
At the same time they will review all the data etc [see last announcement ] with a view to mapping out their plan for Spring 2007 to identify new oil resources in the Upper sands + possibly Sandrill South ..
Finally they will use local knowledge to explore most efficient way to extract ~ 12m bbls from Grieve [teritary
extraction ]..
There is a primary focus by Board and Mgmt to preserve their capital through boosting production @ Sandrill South in additional to exisiting production @ grieve ..
Over an above that to be sensibly opportunisitic to new acquisitions that fit their business model..
