Hiya rusty02,
I agree the current drilling grade at San Jorge isn't viable at 1-1.5% (given the current price of nickel for those low grade saprolite ore), this was properly known to AVQ hence they explored Kolosori first and forced to go to San Jorge.
But what is your take on their NiEq somehow bumping it to 3%! which makes it a very viable operation?
As indicated by a poster, don't you need an onsite processing plant to extract these by-product credits? Which then makes it a viable operation equivalent (Eq) to 3%! if they have an onsite processing plant otherwise shipping million tons of low grade ore at $10 US /t kills any profit so you need to extract it onsite?
Thanks in advance for your response.
RW.
