I would be surprised if there was only one company eyeing off Arv. Seems to be a lot of acquisition by stealth combined with some good old fashioned Aussie short sightedness in the rush to make a quick quid.
DL has a fair bit of skin in this game so it is not likely he is going to have much wool over his eyes if it comes to an attempted takeover.
There does not seem to be much appreciation of how handy it is that all the red tape has been slashed on so much of Arv's holdings. This alone should add more value to the assets knowing that it is not going to get held up in the legal system for years.
Given that it would appear that Purdy's is not the only bit of land with gold deposits, having the ducks lined up is worth big bucks.
