If the financial institutions think that they will have the same or similar access to write loans to half of the population who currently need one are not thinking straight IMO.
The major and second tier will need to put on lots of lenders , then have them explain that the customers somehow now have a lot of choice from one lender?? Seriously??
I had that conversation at NAB today, CSO said their customers have lots of choices........I reminded her that the choices were only within NAB, she just looked at me.
Then, the smaller Mutuals, I worked for 1 in Perth, how do you think they will have any reach interstate without brokers, how about all the Mutuals along the east coast? How will they sell interstate??
If someone can explain that to me, you've just solved the distribution problem
