The next half Senate election is due after 4/08/2018 but no later than 18/05/2019. The House of Representative election is due no later than 2/11/2019, however, normal protocol is to align with the half senate election and therefore it can also be expected that the H of R election will occur no later than 18/05/2019.

The RC interim report is due by no later than 30/09/2018 with the final report due by no later than 1/02/2019. The Financial Services Royal Commission document says that the report will present "findings" and also "recommendations" and "whether any further changes (to practices with the financial services entities) are necessary".
