This is WORSE than what happened with AOD9604. At least then all of us had a sense that AOD9604 was potentially a drug in trouble. And they didn't kill the project until it failed in human trials.

In the present case the result of a completed human trial was not even presented. The project got killed off because of a petri dish experiment that didn't meet expectations, and who knows what the practcal effect of that might be?

The human trial would take precedence. So, what were the results of the trial? Will we ever know? I'd like to ask how one laboratory experiment can overturn years of research, including prior in-vitro experimentation with ACV1 on human neurons.

This decision simply lacks a credible rationale. All any investor would want is to be treated to an honest and complete explanation, not a cryptic and incomplete exercise in spin and BS.
