I phoned Tim Putt (The Exploration Manager) at MLS the other day.
He stated it was not unusual in Namibia for it take several months after the expiry of a exploration licence to have another renewed. He cited the example of EXT. Although he was hopeful it would not take that long. Tim stated that the company had done much more than was neccesary to meet the conditions of the original permit and he sounded very confident about the permit being renewed.
The ongoing exploration at Mile72 is continuing and MLS have plans to get a rotary drill rig on site soon to get some samples up to a depth of 100 metres across a broad spread of the permit site.
Tim also sounded very upbeat about the prospects at Manindi.
