    Queensland Government approvals comment is not about the sale of Teresa or other tenements.

    It's about how the Queensland government began to respond to pressure from jealous coal seam gas companies like QGC, who were carrying on about how overlapping mineral and petroleum leases were jeopardising their plans.

    Also caving to environmental groups who were claiming that subsurface water might be contaminated by UCG.

    So key QLD politicians started making partial and grand-standing statements about how UCG/GTL would never be allowed on a big scale until it had been thoroughly proven commercially. That would be - proven elsewhere - by implication. They were also implying that Queensland's future energy industry plans revolvong around CSG and Gladstone and so forth were priority one.

    Thank the Creator, Linc had options, or those self-serving morons would have been an even worse wrench thrown in the works.

    Allow for a bit of paraphrasing in the above. Just my undetailed memory of events.
