AHX will be an interesting one!
No future plans for any acquisitions (ie more clinics) was announced recently....

I'm curious to see how current events in the Vet world play out - their cash flow is HIGHLY dependent on external factors. With >80% of their clinics deriving more than 50% of their income from small animals.

How is the current vaccine shortage affecting revenue? Australian Vet Association has issued a notice restricting cat vaccinations to kittens and adult cats going into boarding. Current wait time at our local vet is 3+ months to get a cat vaccinated. That's normal vaccinations, FIV etc have been out of stock for 2+ years.

What impact does the cost of living crisis have on discretionary vet care?

Large animals, how are environmental factors etc going to affect revenue? Dairy is a large proportion of AHX income and many of the farms are under contract (good revenue source) but what about the "add ons" and other discretionary spends?
Owning and operating feed lots etc is great, until the input cost (largely feed) becomes uneconomical....

I think it will be a long time before the $1 days are back..... Not saying it won't happen, just some more solid debt reduction and revenue.
