If they do get a ticket, I don't expect any update on the retirement market as they updated the market on their views 2 weeks earlier. The only known outstanding is resolution of the banking issues.
However, IMO LLC will make an offer for LLP this year, but only a guess. Banks will try to sting them with higher interest costs, hampering company performance. LLC wears 40% of this cost via its ownership in LLP. Thus, synergy benefits for LLC from a takeover. Also, IMO LLC would not have bought the PTN properties unless they wanted to bring LLP in-house.
Anyway, just speculation.
