Perhaps ... I do not recall the details but I am aware the CEO and Chairperson worked together in the past. I don't know their respective roles and working relationship at that time. Perhaps they were drinking buddies, perhaps there was animosity. However, it is my understanding the CEO has remained in the hubris of Mayne, whilst the Chairman moved on and has had a range of experience outside Mayne. It is also my understanding that the two directors who left recently were on the Mayne train for quite a period.
I am happy to be corrected on my comments and would appreciate any clarification.
