I also find the delay in drilling frustrating - we all want to see results - but I agree that you have to cut them some slack here. They are probably twice as frustrated as we are.
A small company like this doesn't have a lot of resources at their fingertips. It's quite likely some broken part that needs to be freighted in because they can't pick one up at the local hardware store.
