Not just a house. Strata apartments may not have the stress regarding arranging repairs etc but you also have a lot less control over the timing of spending money via levies.
Renting you just have rent & electricity as outgoings, a lot less stressful. Owning your own home seems to have an unlimited list of outgoings.
If it wasn't for the fact that renters are treated like second class citizens in Australia it would be the way to go IMO.
