A carer's pension is not so easily acquired as you seem to believe,and is only $110.00 per fortnight.It also acts to assist in maintaining disabled and frail aged people within their family units as opposed to nursing home care which is far more costly to the taxpayer.

Perhaps you have plenty of wealth and feel that you may never require any government assistance,but you never really know where you'll end up in life regardless of where you may be now.

The Australian culture was based on Christian principles and this has always included 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you'.Co-operation,compassion,love...these are the attributes which make a nation great,not the current climate of dog eat dog.Intelligence only exists once the head and the heart become one.
