    So Alan Jones thinks it's frightening that "the six leading members of the Government, from Mr. Rudd down, have a collective work experience of 181 years, but only 13 in the private sector."

    As if running a small business or private company is somehow esssential experience for public office?! Please.

    What we really need in public office is a blend of collective experience across multiple sectors. Good listeners capable of taking good advice. Both major parties sadly offer little variation. Too many union hacks or lawyers.

    What's really frightening is how many people listen to Alan Jones' drivel.
