I'm not sure what a great Aussie burger is….Frankly I've never had one. Had some that were reasonable….but, really, nothing memorable. Had some outstanding ones traveling in the US many years ago state to state, town to town….but who knows what they serve now.
Was in the US last month for shirt trip…Chicago and NC…. and a Big Mac in North Carolina….was $3.80 USD. Maybe not a flash state to compare prices with…but it was ok…
That said the Mac Oz served here by McD…not a bad effort. Probably a bit more nutritious than most of their other burgers…Don't mind eating them…and always do when they have them on offer…..Have to admit a preference for Hungry Jacks though….and most of all…prefer to grill my own…It isn't rocket science….Must confess, a small amount of Cajun spice (look for it on eBay - there is an outstanding Australian spice merchant who sells it) added to the meat really makes it special.
