have a look at MNR chart before its jump, you may need to correctly adjust volume scale to see meaning full detail. Price went 12 - 18 c with dramatic increase in av. volume traded several days before announcement.
And no i didnt ride this one. More sedate example is NFD run up prior to WOW announcement. Most of these ships are to big to be totally leak free, as for HAV 15c was key support to enter tight stop of @14c would have prevented a lot of haemorrhage. Charts do leave footprints or so i believe as long as you follow a set of rules based on your beliefs
