I was also very hopeful about Shylock and Lorenzo - and noticed that there was no mention of these areas in the latest presentation. I made the conclusion that they are currently off the table as drill targets.
My other concern is the low grade at Portia. Whilst the 50/50 agreement with CMC has its positives, we need to bear in mind that of the gold being produced, 50 percent is going to CMC. Therefore, can HAV process the low grade ore profitably when HAV is only getting half the proceeds? In a worst case scenario, does HAV have an obligation to process the ore so CMC can get their half share of the gold, even if HAV's half of the gold is not enough to cover its processing costs?
I'd be interested in comments from anyone with a better understanding of the cost of processing and at what stage or what grade could it become unprofitable for HAV to process the low grade ore?
