I agree. Self interest suggests Orbis will vote for Price. They have a lot at stake in PPX and their comments to date suggest they are interventionist. Schroders I am not sure about. If they think Price has the numbers they might abstain so as not to upset their links with other Boards but again their self interest appears to require a change of chairman. MBA i expect are more likely to abstain. Just hope they do not vote for Boon.

Fora like Hot Copper may make it harder for Fund Managers not to take an active role in voting in situations like this as it exposes the fund managers to greater scrutiny and investors with funds with them expect them to behave in the interest of the investors.
