Gotta agree with your opinion Barley. And on the cricket. We are being invited to participate and I intend to take what shares I can get at that price. This is development biotech investing and dilution happend from time to time. If we ever see the opportunity to buy in at that price again, once the show is back on the road, I will be very surprised.
When this cash is spent on the clinical trials, isnt it true there is a government grant to match it. That is pretty good value.
I was a victim of a lowball secondary a year ago just after I had bought into a US biotech. Everyone was crying because the holders didnt get a chance to participate. It went to the big banks. They had a great product but they needed the cash to survive. They got their money, they completed their trials, and now their shares have increased 400% from when I bought in, and it has only just started. All the holders have now stopped bleating about the secondary and are busy shopping for exotic sports cars.
At that price, I am buying all I can afford of SBP. This is a stock that has slipped under the radar of investors, about to commence what I suspect will be the most important cancer drug clinical trial ever conducted in Australia. Just my opinion.
