It's funny how the aoe tournament has a $5k prize pool and goes for a year. Why isn't it $50k to the outright winner and we have the best players in the world playing heads up and have it all streamed so noobs can watch and learn and get involved. Thousands of random spot prizes going to viewers. Have things like Friday Night Fight where 5 pros and 5 amateurs fight it out over 3 hours for cash prizes and get viewers and subscribers that way. The part I find hard is with gaming, noobs don't stand a chance where as poker for example, luck plays a big enough role that an amateur can beat a pro on any given day, not with gaming. My point being that a pretty good player isn't going to pay even $10 to fight against a better player because they'll get destroyed 9 times out of 10.
