If you have a watchlist of UK stocks, there's a few other miners to watch which will tell you whether a price move is company-specific or sector-wide. I also watch Anglo-American (AAL), XStrata (XTA), Kazakhmys (KAZ), Antofagasta (ANTO) and of course Rio Tinto (RIO). All are FTSE100 components, and all are down about 2% right now.
