People may be moving to cloud but cloud still requires hardware. Companies like Microsoft and Amazon do build their own data centres but they also use colocation facilities in cities where they dont have data centres.
While a lot of companies have shifted to the cloud, the larger ones dont tend to be 100% cloud. It tends to be a mix of cloud and their own hardware for various reasons. The bigger data centres that NXT and Equinix build have a lot of connectivity and access to services that allows enterprises to run their hybrid environments.
As cloud grows so will the need for more data centres.
