Ask yourself this. If you had a spare 100k and your lookin to invest in a new stock - Nextdc - and whilst researching the company you find its CEO just sokd 55% of his holdings and the last FY sales were - 67% over the previous year (F21 5.5MW v FY2017MW), would you put your money in this company. I put 10x thus amount in last year based on the CEO's comments over the past 18 months. See my previous posts. Wish I never did. Comments like "FY 21 will be like nothing we've ever seen just in options alone......" blah blah. Well it was an absolute fizzer of a year. Complete waste of time as the stock isnow less than it was 18 months ago. Yes they look good for the future and the CEO keeps talking it. 6 more data centres, supposedly new increased $2b+ debt facility, overseas who knows, 57MW in options on the books (wouldn't know it though as no Material announcements since 1 Jun 2020), M3 upgraded from 80 to 150MW, S4 announced at 300MW (neither of which seem to have had any positive effect on SP as there are no visible sales to offset the $B's in expenditure. 5.5MW a year is just not that appealingto an investor. I think it will come good but the CEO's big sell off and continued comments about patience and discipline to me means slow slow progress. Let's hope his mate Bevan at Hyperone provides some opportunities as I can see Adelaide, Tas and Darwin being part of the 6 x new Edge DC's. Like Appen prime takeover target given 700MW build out with 75MW currently under contract. At 5MW per year will take 120 years to fill the current assets. Like many others, I can't wait that li g and that's why it is currently being sold off. No contracts and massive CEO sell off means no buyers!
