What is going on Nextdc. 5 weeks ago in Oct you tell us Darwin will be developed and you will have more details for us "next month ie. NOV). Well Nov has come and gone and no further details. CS tells us in Aug 21 after annual results the Company will announce 6 more Data Centres this FY. So far 5 months in and just 1 announced, we'll sort of. Darwin.
76 weeks now since the last Material Contract announcement. Wasn't expecting the next announcement to take this long given CEO Scroggie's comments in Feb 21' Earnings Call stating "FY '21 is a year of continuing acceleration of growth for NEXTDC". Well I'm not seeing it, are you? And similar from the same from Feb Transcript "So second half sales, we expect to see both enterprise and hyperscale opportunities accelerate". 5.5MW for FY 21. Accelaeation didn't happen!! It decelerated compared to the previous 5 years where contracts increased each year compared to previous years.
CS tells us FY 2021 will be like nothing we've ever seen before. Just in options alone, just the conversion of options....... " well 2021 was nothing like the CEO said it would be. Share price has gone up 2c since Dec 2020. Oh yeah, CEO sold out at $13.58 end Sept. SP has struggled ever since. CEO doesn't seem to not worry too much about maximising shareholder wealth at the moment which is why SP has gone up 2c in 12 months. As long as he is OK though!
New DC's - Contracts. A few years back S2 was half sold out on opening and Nextdc 5 months out advised the Market of this. S3 opening with 12MW of capacity and 5 months out (based on previous advice of March opening date) and no new contacts annnounced. Nor any announcements on M2 additional 9 MW or M3 13 MW initial capacity contracts.
It's time you told us where things are at, what's going on. New S4 dara centre , Darwin with no detail and $2.5b increased debt facility gave done nothing to lift
SP. 50+MW of Options on the books since Jul 2020 and you announce 5.5 MW in 18 months.
This is not an acelaration in my eyes, don't think too many other shareholders thinks it is either
