Mate I just get the feeling Doug doesn't want to be at home with the Mrs and mowng lawns because who really wants to be bossed around at home after 50+ years in the workforce and CEO Scroggie has made his money through his recent sell off, buying property and paying his taxes if you believe that and still accruing 147,859 shares on 16 Dec 2021 as CEO for what I really don't know because the share price in 18 months has gone backwards.
I just get the feeling he's made his money and Maximising Shareholder wealth is a distant second behind his best interests. If this is true then good luck to him. Gone from start up to $5b market cap in 10 years. But if your not in it for the Shareholders any more then move and and let someone is that has the shareholders interests ahead of his own. I would like to think this is not the case though.
On another note, I see Hyperone has kicked off construction. I can se Nextdc tiring in yo this oroje t quite well with Darwin and 4 x more Edge Data Centres to be announced this FY according to the CEO. ergaps Adelaide, Tasmania and 2 x More elsewhere,
Given Darwin was announced on the Nextdc website ebd Oct 2021 stating more details to come "next month" , Im not too confident we'll hear anything further this FY on these new DC's as we are now in mid Jan and still no update on Darwin size, capacity, delivery. Maybe Dougs looking after the PR details on this one and is asleep again.
