Surely it will still be quite some time away before the very healthy profits being made by the "once large but now considered small" DC facilities are more than the absolutely massive investments needed in order to build the new absolutely massive hyper-scale sized sites?
Whilst the requirement to securely store data continues to grow at an exponential rate, then new facilities are needed.
When NEXTDC decides to stop building new sites, then the very healthy profits will roll in and be unstoppable - but then they will be capped by the size of the portfolio.
I assume that NEXTDC will never stop building, but at some point the existing and fully invoicing facilities will support new builds.
