If you want to get a good feel for NextDC's future Australian DC's portfolio location, perhaps the attached updated snip below of Hyperone's vision and locations may help. Around the time of NextDC's 2021 Aug Earnings Call CS announced the company would announce 6 new DC''s in FY22. So far the company has announced Darwin and Adelaide. Sunshine Coast Edge DC also announced though not on this pic. Since at the last Earnings Call last month CS mentioned 10 new DC's currently being planned. Guessing it's some of these locations on the map below as well as hopefully Japan, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia also mentioned by CS last month.
Should be a big 12 months ahead. Last 3 weeks has seen ASX announcements with a Director buying up shares along with Unisuper and Blackrock. Also look at Friday's close, approx 1m shares purchased lifting the price from $10.84 to $10.97. Something is going on and it's either a takeover or some positive announcements around new contracts coming soon as a result of M3 and S3 opening soon.
Finally, Bevan S sold 3m Megaport shares last week and the word is this dough is being ploughed in to Hyperone.
I would expect a joint announcement by Hyperone/Nextdc will be made in the near future regarding an agreement of such to state Hyperone will use NextDC infrastructure to house it's new Hyperone network nationally.
