NextDC have been trying to enter the Asian market for several years. The recent Singapore DC morotorium has dented their sort-medium term aspirations as they were too slow to enter and the best way to counteract act this is D2. If this is the strategy then well played. We can't build there in any significant capacity so let's build in Darwin 50m/s away and not have the power restrictions Singapore has on DC's. Good move.
