is this a joke? or do you only have nxt on your watchlist and have been living under a rock? i needn't mention the many once-darlings growth stocks that everyone knows about, they are hilarious when you look at their charts. feels like you're way too emotionally invested in nxt, no offence. the share price is most likely due to the ridiculous dotcom bubble valuation, not the company's fundamentals.
also nxt's NTA is $3.61 last i checked on their report, what do you mean by the $2.7 billion? it would all be on their balance sheet.
competition was always going to be an issue, DCs are overbuilt, it's like the chip makers, demand went parabolic due to covid so the industry went all in, and now hangover effects. look at amd and intel's share price, nvidia is refusing to sell down because they are considered an AI play and market is ignoring their PC segment, PC chip demand has gone to hell and amd/intel are on the chopping block. digital realty's share price has collapsed, its way below covid bottom, even equinix has dropped a lot more than nxt, and both of them are way way cheaper than nxt.
