Kapitol Group are thrilled to announce a new project at NEXTDC’s M2 Data Centre facility in Tullamarine which includes the design and build of several data halls purpose built to enable the current and future expansion requirements of Global Cloud Platform providers.
Melbourne's M2 is a facility we’re very familiar with, having recently completed the new customer experience centre! Fitout projects don’t usually require the use of cranes. However, this complex, services-heavy project will use the 2nd largest tower crane in Australia to lift the inventory of cooling infrastructure and generators onto the building’s roof.
The crane’s 60 metre jib can lift 25 tonnes at a time, ensuring our project team can meet the number one priority of safety in addition to construction efficiencies. This marks our 13th major project with NEXTDC.
Working with NEXTDC is the ultimate in customer collaboration and we’re extremely grateful to their team for the opportunity to deliver another fantastic project in support of Victoria’s digital economy. The project is due for completion in July 2024.
