The source is a very interesting site called tipranks.
It pulls all public comments/sentiments expressed on hot copper and a few other big sites like it...
Here is the summary of another bull who i have been arguing with here for the last year or so..
All of the little Bullish boxes correspond to buy calls Smurph made here on HC....
The success rate, return rate, and therefore rankings, are all based on public comments, calls and sentiment.. not on anyone's trades of course...
