We knew Google was after a second zone and Melbourne makes the most sense. I thought Google might go to Perth cause of the INDIGO cable.
That will mean either an Alibaba or Microsoft might invest in Perth. Sataya Nadella has been in Indonesia recently and talk of cloud investments there. Maybe geo back up in Perth?
P2 is too large in MW not to be underpinned by a hyperscaler. We shall see if it is Alibaba, Microsoft or even Google.
