I don't know much about Airtrunk, except that they are building some seriously large facilities (Western Sydney will now scale upto 130MW after acquiring neighbouring land, Lane Cove is planned at 110MW, very serious electrical loads) and have a focus on scale and driving costs down. NextDC in Syd is 45MW and maybe 120MW once S3 is complete.
Airtrunk is supposedly lower-margin "Wholesale" "hyper-scale" only contracts. Where as NextDC can cater to that as well, but also now sells down to as low as a quarter of a rack.
I couldn't tell you any customers of Airtrunk or if they were winning business, but they seem to continually keep expanding existing Data Centres and building new ones and have recently been acquired by Macquarie Group's Infrastucture arm, so I assume they must be.
