in all due respect, it pains me to see people talk about overvalued in a explosive bull run/bubble, where there's record liquidity rushing into markets thanks to record low interest rates locally and abroad, where they will remain for sometime.

you would be doing better than the 1% of the market participants to find explosive undervalued growth stocks at the minute, but sadly almost the entire nasdaw, NYSE and asx are all overvalued, and by some margin. trying to use intrinsic value and the old warren buffet measurements will do you harm in this market, as you'll spin wheels and miss out on some large double digit growth.

agree wholeheartedly that value (of a certain matrix) should be taken heavily into consideration when entering a position, but perhaps when everything comes back down to earth/cools. Caveat of course is each persons investment thesis, risk tolerance and exposure is all different. I wouldn't be having the same outlook at 70 years old, but then again, I probably wouldn't be playing the markets...

anyway you raise valid points, although no rain on my parade though, as I've made a monster on some of my picks, overvalued or not. one must enjoy it while it lasts.

my opinion only, and as always dyor
