Thing fail all the time in data centres. It's just a fact of life that if you turn on 10,000 brand new power supplies, one will be DOA from the box and on average, half of them will be dead by the MBTF clock.
Mineral oil immersion was the tech prior to this.
If you are changing out 100 components per day, this adds a significant burden to that task.
