whats it going to take

there was a fair bit of discussion the other day about whether or not the market had already priced in teh extension... at least the shorter, 5 month extension anyway.

Based on what i am seeing here, i believe that the market has indeed accounted for it. Seems odd though.

I'm sure if we did a survey on HC as to who thought the extension was a done deal or not, i'd be confident that the majority would say "yes, its old news and in the bag". If we on HC are a sample of the general population then i'd have to conclude that the general population thinks (roughly) the same.

Is it fair to suggest, therefore, that this is going to need a serious rocket of an announcement to really get the party started ?

I'm interested to hear the group's thoughts.
