I don't share your concern about funding drilling, nor that the Mauritanian Govt. would be in any way biased toward Aura.
Peter Reeve has spent a considerable amount of time building the right relationships within Govt. and he has a proven track record of raising funds when needed. Simply consider the UK cornerstone investors and others like preempt who have provide the key support in times where a lot of faith has been required. These people are all seasoned investors and you can't winkle a penny out of them without a very good story, never mind millions of dollars.
Reasons for gold permit delays are well known now and have been reported in a fair degree of detail here already. What won't be delayed is the DFS, so by the middle of this year it will be game on.
