    It's not a whisper, it's a fact; MEC Resources (MMR) have announced in various publications recently that the intended spud date is in 2009 - THIS IS NOT A RUMOUR

    Exactly correct Nicto; this is by no means a done deal yet. A lot has been made of the Chinese connections with MEC Resources (MMR) but they are obviously not interested in PEP11 otherwise it would have happened long before now.
