    Mr Toms said AACo would move 20,000 to 30,000 beasts back to its Barkly properties when rain eased and trucks could operate.

    Like other graziers, AACo reduced herd numbers in that area last year as feed supplies dwindled. AACo's shares rose 1c to $1.91.
