I have a theory out of left field that I hope the geologists can shoot down, but it might be the thinking of funds/institutions.
The thick intersections of good grade that Kidman found, and others have vaguely reported like Poseidon, could mean that there is a lot more spodumene around than most people think, which would mean over the medium term many other players will come along at a cheap price that they could invest their lithium marked funds into.
No-one has come up with a PLS size resource yet, but NMT have found deeper good grade lithium not included in their current resource, so more discoveries are being made.
Just the thought of a lot more spodumene might be seeing these funds/instos taking profits to invest in either the existing companies cheaper or in new players that they think will emerge.
